The perfect steak

You're only as good as your meat. Choose the best cut of meat you can find. Why skimp on yourself? Go for the best, we're talking steak here.

Always, and I mean ALWAYS season, if not over season. It will only make it that much better. Start out with a good rub. First use a fork and poke holes in your meat, then rub your meat with the seasonings (on both sides), don't be afraid to get in there and massage it in.

Now that you have a well seasoned piece of meat, on to the grill.

Pre-heat your grill as high as you can get it. Place your meat on the grill and sear the meat on each side for two minutes. Remove from grill and let the meat rest for about two hours. Searing the meat will let all the juices hold inside the meat.

When you're ready, in two hours, place meat back on grill and cook to liking.

This process will give you one of the best steaks you will ever eat. That is if you have two hours to wait.
